Meet Melissa
Melissa Bishop is a seasoned intuitive holistic practitioner and owner of Wholehearted Healing Studio. She has worked in the alternative health industry for over 10 years, focusing on mind, body, and spirit, promoting the growth of self through various holistic channels. Melissa’s mindset is “nothing changes without doing the work,” focusing on accountability, engagement, and support with her clients. Her passion and purpose stem from her own traumas and experiences, specializing in addiction, trauma, relationship challenges, and entrepreneurial growth.
After battling a drug addiction, Melissa embraced her passion of help others and enjoyed a 25 year career in the Drug and Alcohol Treatment industry. Despite a successful career she battled with depression and an eating disorder which impacted her personal relationships as well as her relationship with herself. She discovered Reiki combined with Meditation allowed her to find balance, love for self and others.
In 2016, she co-founded Finding Avalon a Metaphysical Store in Camden, Delaware, before moving on to individualized holistic care. In 2021, she founded and opened Mindful Spirit Connection to empower others through spiritual healing, growth, and enrichment. In April 2024, she opened Wholehearted Healing with the purpose to grow a community of oneness.
